York County Treasurers Office
The York County Treasurer is an official who maintains the County's financial records. The Treasurer is responsible for bill payment, collection of fees owed the County, payroll, borrowing,investment, and other matters related to County finances. The Treasurer is an elected, part time County position, and appoints, with the approval of the County Commissioners, a full time Deputy Treasurer to oversee day to day transactions. There are currently three full time employees in the department, the Deputy Treasurer, a Payroll/Benefits clerk and a Cost Recovery clerk.
